Access
This studio is open to enrolled students of any major, staff, or faculty members as a space for active working. Classes are periodically rostered in the room; please check the calendar and local signage for availability. Outside of those classes, the workspaces are available for anyone to use.
Lockers are available for student use. Please visit the Patron portal on WebCheckout to make a reservation.
Please note: Reservations are required before completing your locker checkout at the Resource Hub in Double Ground.

About the Fabrication: Open Bench
This light-filled bench room is located in room D165 in Double Ground. The Open Bench Room is available for any enrolled student, staff, or faculty member to use as a temporary workspace.
This space is for active work only. Only temporary storage for active projects is allowed on the shelving units. Users are expected to leave their workspace clean and tidy. Benches are be used on a first-come-first-served basis.
The same material restrictions that apply to other wood shops are in effect in the Open Bench.
Note for Fall 2026:
- UDIST-3000-3: Legacy: CCA(C) will be using the Open Bench as their classroom on Fridays 9am-2:30pm. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions/concerns.
